This 12-week project based program falls under the manufacturing division of AFI.  This curriculum covers pattern development of garments using specification packages to execute the development of industry standards. ​ One fitting class, lab hours and a practicum is required for certificate award.

Students use masters from FSP or Marathon Leap programs to create intermediate foundations for:

• ​Jackets

• Dresses

• Sleeves and Sleeve Combinations 

• Collars

• Pants and Pant Variations

• Fitting 101

 

​A practicum is required to be awarded the certificate and be eligible for project-based work.
