This 9-week program falls under the manufacturing division of AFI.  This curriculum covers the pattern development of garments using specification packages as a reference to execute the development of industry standards. ​ One fitting class is required.

Pre-Requisite:  Sewing Operator I Certificate or equivalent industry knowledge and experience. 

 

Students complete 4 projects during the 9-week period relative to basic foundations.

​A practicum is required to be awarded the certificate and be eligible for project-based work.
