Hands-on merchandising, operations, and e-commerce training inside a real student-run retail environment. Designed for adults seeking practical workforce skills, career advancement, career transition, or launching an online product-based business.
Students learn how products move from concept to consumer through merchandising, inventory management, distribution, digital commerce, and emerging technology concepts. Internship and Education-to-Employment (E2E) pathways are available for qualified students.
Note: This program is not exclusive to fashion designers. Students interested in the merchandising, presentation, marketing, and management of any consumer product will benefit from this training. No prior fashion experience is required.
Program Commitment: requires one day per week for 6 months. All courses require research, applied projects and participation in structured discussion forum.

Program Outcome: Graduates demonstrate the ability to plan, position, present, and manage product merchandise through the AFI Practicum.
